Dear all,
The coronavirus has hit the whole humanity hard. All the global events from Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games to Cannes Film Festival to all the activities involving large crowd has been postponed. During the time of this global COVID 19 outbreak, postponing any such event is absolutely right thing to do.
As per the recommended safety guidelines regarding COVID 19, from WHO and Government of Nepal, it is hereby informed that 2nd Yala International Independent Film Festival which was scheduled from 15th April to 17th April 2020 has been postponed till further notice. YIIFF is an international destination event, attended by participants from around the globe.  It is for the well being of all the concerned parties, filmmakers, partners, audiences, supporters and attendees as their health and safety is of utmost importance to us.
At this time of global health crisis, we express our deepest condolences to the victims of the COVID 19 and solidarity to each and every one fighting the disease. YIIFF also conveys admiration and respect towards all health workers who are working incredibly hard, with both courage and compassion, in extremely difficult and stressful circumstances like this.

God has perfect timing; never early never late. It takes a little patience and whole lot a faith but its worth of wait.
Stay informed! Stay Home! Stay Safe!
