When I’m gone
५ पुष २०७५, बिहीबार १७:३५
When I’m gone,
Don’t grieve and cry for me as you sit behind my grave,
Instead, let my love taste like blood in your mouth and let that be your crave.
Don’t search for me in the ashes of death for I’ll no longer be there,
Just know that life’s this way and destiny played it’s part of share.
Don’t hate yourself for not being there to wipe away my tears,
But embrace yourself with all the love we built through all these years.
Don’t say that I left you alone to fight this war on your own,
Know that I’ll be happy somewhere like the wallpaper on your phone.
Don’t find yourself hopeless amidst the peace of pale moonlight,
Realize the wind hustling around you and that I’m not gone out of sight.
Search for me in the poetries I wrote, you’ll find more of us there,
Listen to your heartbeat once and the rhythm of our love you’ll hear.
Dance in the tender touch of rain, I’ll be the downpour for you,
Hug me tight in the photographs you have, I’ll be the memories for you.
But just don’t search for me in the graveyard and ashes,
As the wind of deathlessness in my death passes!
For I’ll no longer be there in the grieve and pain,
But living in the memories and love we could sustain.
