On Sunday, Indian External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, conveyed his congratulations to NP Saud (Narayan Prakash Saud) on his recent appointment as the Foreign Minister of Nepal.

Saud, a Nepali Congress leader, assumed the position just weeks before the upcoming visit of Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to India.

In a tweet, Jaishankar expressed his anticipation of working closely with Saud to enhance the multifaceted partnership between the two countries and wished him success in his new role.
