Anjali Lama, a Transgender Model Now Starring in Calvin Klein Campaign

Acceptance is the best accessory. Anjali Lama, a transgender model is creating headlines with her achievements.

The model is now starring in a Calvin Klein advertising campaign. Working for such big brand like Calvin Klein is a dream for many models across the globe but Lama is living that dream. And what makes it even more inspiring and aspiring is the fact that she is a transgender model.

The ‘My Statement.  #MyCalvins’ campaign was launched on International women’s Day in Asia and it features 10 amazing women from Asia to celebrate womanhood. According to sources Calvin Klein will release more on 14 March, Thursday.

Anjali Lama stunned everyone when she walked in Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. She was the first transgender model to do so and after that she remained in highlights walking in shows of regional designers like Gaurav Gupta. On her interview she said that walking on big shows like these is important for her as well as her community. She hopes at least people who are hidden from the society will gain confidence.
