Ferien-Messe Wien is the largest tourism fair in Austria. In its aim to bring 2 million Tourists to Nepal in 2020 Nepal Tourism Board has started to increase the number of fairs it participates abroad. This is the first time NTB has participated in the fair and the response was immense. As Austria is also a mountainous country, people are really into hiking and mountaineering. Nepal Stall faced a lot of queries regarding the established and new trekking routes. Even Some Everest Summiteers visited our stall and wished us good luck. There were lots of visitors who had already visited Nepal and wanted to go again.

How is weather in Nepal? What we can see beside mountains?

These were the questions asked by majority of the visitors to Nepal stand. Nepal Embassy in Austria collaborated with NTB in this fair in the mission to promote Nepal. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Prakash Kumar Suvedi and other embassy staff were present to answer queries of visitors.

The positive response with affection and love towards Nepal will definitely help us our ultimate goal of receiving more tourists from Austria in particular and from Eurozone in general.

Nepal stall had a highly favourable location and large volume of travel trade visitors and general public visited our stall. We distributed maps, posters, card drives, souvenirs and brochures to visitors.
