Make a wish…
“As a little kid whenever I used to pass through Koshi Barrage, I held few coins in my hand closed my eyes and made a wish and threw those coins in the holy water. Few years later, as a seventeen year old, I still do this. But with time my wishes kept changing. As a 5 year old, I may have asked god a fridge full of snacks, a cupboard filled with chocolates. As a 12 year old, I may have asked god good grades. And as a seventeen year old, my wishes are out of places.”
World is changing and so is everything else
My wish my desires are not in a single place
As I pass through this amazing place
I flip my coin and embrace
The river flowed in its own
I could see the birds that have flown
I wished and I wish for a place so free
Where everyone is happy, filled with trees
For a haven where children are not hungry
And adults not in armor on a cavalry
I wish for my parent’s happiness
And my family too
For I hope that someday our world so peace
That my children never knew what we went through
